Due to confirmation that there has been community transmission of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, the Provincial Dental Board of Nova Scotia, with a directive from Dr. Strang, has updated its Emergency Dental Protocol for the treatment of dental emergencies in Nova Scotia. The updated protocol takes effect tonight and means we can no longer provide any care at our clinic.

Designated Emergency Dental Clinics are as follows:

  1. The clinic at the Dalhousie Faculty of Dentistry;
  2. The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic at the Victoria General Hospital;
  3. The Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the IWK Health Centre;

You can still contact us by phone or email and our dentists will triage and assess all patient inquiries. If emergency treatment is required, we will refer you to one of the locations listed above.

Unfortunately, we are now closed until further notice. Once the health authorities deem it safe for us to return to work, we will be contacting our previously scheduled patients ASAP for new appointments.

Stay safe and healthy, and we hope to see you all soon.
