Meet Our Team

Dr. Wayne Ramier, General Practitioner

A 1988 graduate of Dalhousie Dental School, Dr. Ramier has been practicing at Community Dental Center for more than 19 years.  Besides private practice, Dr. Ramier has also been instructing part time at the Dalhousie Dental School since 1989.

Though enjoying all aspects of general dentistry, Dr. Ramier has a special interest in Orthodontics.  After taking advanced courses in orthodontics, he has become a member of the International Association of Orthodontists.

Dentistry is a forever changing profession and through teaching at the Dental School and Continuing Education Courses, Dr. Ramier has managed to stay abreast of those changes. Providing patients with the highest standard of care is always his utmost goal.

Dr. Heather MacLean, General Practitioner

A 1988 graduate of Dalhousie Dental School, Dr. MacLean left Nova Scotia to complete an internship at Saint Michael’s Hospital in Toronto.  Dr. MacLean then taught ‘Oral Diagnosis’ at the University of Toronto for one year while working at the Queen Street West Dental Clinic.  Dr. MacLean moved back to Nova Scotia in 1990 and has practiced at Community Dental Center ever since offering a full range of general family dental services.  Although not currently teaching, Dr. MacLean has taught part time for many years at Dalhousie Dental School as well.

Dentistry is a forever changing profession and through memberships in local groups such as the 'Atlantic Implant Study Club' and continuing education courses, Dr. MacLean has managed to stay abreast of those changes. Maintaining the highest standard of care is always her utmost goal.

Dr. Natasha Hovey, General Practitioner

A 2002 graduate of Dalhousie Dental School, Dr. Hovey has been practicing at Community Dental Center since graduation.  Dr. Hovey enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and provides a full range of services to her patients.  Dr. Hovey is currently teaching part time at the Dalhousie Dental School.
